There has been a recent news item running with regard to possible changes to the legislation on hunting with dogs.  Currently a maximum of two dogs can be used to flush out pests, providing they are shot as soon as possible afterwards.  The plans suggested would have allowed more dogs to have been used whilst hunting.

The Government has always been clear that any change to the Hunting Act 2004 would be subject to a free vote.  The Prime Minister has now announced however, that there will be no amendments to the 2004 Act in this Parliament.
